2019 Bishop Andrews 30th Birthday Bash

Andrew was turning 30 this month. Wow! How did that happen? Since we were going to be in Spain on the official day, we decided to travel over to the other side of the Sierra to Bishop, where they now live, to have a multi-day celebration, which if the birthday boy had his way, would be a full schedule of rock climbing.

Celeste had ordered a ice cream cake from Screaming Mimi’s in Sebastopol (Andrew’s favorite ice cream shop) and asked if I could pick it up and bring it with us. The picking up wasn’t the problem, but I was a bit concerned as to what the state of the cake would be after our 7 hour drive - even though we packed it in ice in a cooler.

Tommy took time off from work and joined us. Time together with both boys at the same time is getting tougher to do, so I was quite excited.
