2024 Maui

Herb loves going somewhere warm for his birthday, and since he was making such a big deal about his last year as a sexagenarian, we decided to go big and head to Maui for 11 days.

We would spend 4 nights at a condo in Kihei, then 2 nights in Hana, and finish off with 5 nights in Wailea at a fancy resort, which was not really our style. However, I was able to cope.

Herb and I do love a good beach (especially Herb),but we are still too active to just lie around on the beach or a resort pool, so I had lots of interesting and challenging hikes planned.

Plus poor Herb got to drive on every narrow, twisty road in Maui and there were plenty.

So all in all it was a great mix of relaxation and adventure, just the way we like it.
