2015 Yosemite Thanksgiving and San Diego

At last – the first trip as California residents! Well, kind of. We left New Jersey on November 6th, after the closing on our house and spent about a week driving cross country along the I80 route - for details see: Herb and Lolo's Migration West.

We wondered what to do about the website, as the “cross country” part of our Lolo’s Extreme Cross Country Trips was essentially over – that is, until we take a trip back east. However, we decided that whenever we left home – whatever that might mean these days -- and took enough photos, we would make it a West Coast trip on our website.

So, this is the first of what I hope will be many more mini trips on the West Coast. It is a trip with just two very different stops : Thanksgiving in snow-covered Yosemite, followed by the sun and warmth of San Diego. That was not a random pairing. Herb really really needed San Diego weather after freezing in Yosemite.
