Annadel State Park
State Park, 60 miles north of San Francisco on the eastern edge of Santa Rosa, with miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and trail running
Dipsea Trail
Begins in Mill Valley and immediately climbs up a steep set of steps (676 in all) and trails over Mt. Tamalpais before eventually making the long descent to Stinson Beach, 7.4 miles away.

East Chop
Peninsula, surrounded by Nantucket Sound on the north and east and Vineyard Haven Harbor on the west. It features a high prominent bluff with mid-1800 mansions overlooking the Sound. East Chop Light, one of the island’s five lighthouses, stands on Telegraph Hill at the north end of the chop.

8.5 mile run with many wrong turns along the way. The hike began along a bluff overlooking the coastline and through the gardens of Shore Acres State Park. At that point, a wrong turn brought us along the Pack Trail up and down through what appeared to be a jungle before ending in Cape Arago State Park.

5-miles along the valley loop paths from the Church Bowl Picnic Area to Mirror Lake, where because of the torrential rains, it was actually a lake, and a mirror reflecting North Dome

3.5-mile run (with my sore toe) from Church Bowl along the Valley Floor loop to Yosemite Village, (quick stop to go into the Ansel Adams Gallery), through the Yosemite Cemetery, to Lower Yosemite Falls, to the Ahwahnee Meadow, and back to Church Bowl
Morning beach run
5-mile run from our beach (MacKenzie Beach) and tried to make our way north to the town of Tofino. It required some navigating through woods, scrambling on rocks, climbing down stairs down to beaches, but we did manage to get to Middle Beach, Third Beach, and Tonquin Beach before turning around.
Carmel
5-mile run from our hotel, down Ocean Avenue to Carmel Beach, along the Scenic Bluff Path around Carmel Point, inland to the Carmel Mission, and back.
Wailea Beach Path
4.5-mile run, first going north up to Ulea and Keawakapu Beach, and then south, back past the hotel to Polo Beach, and then back to the hotel
Aquinnah Lighthouse Loop
5.5-mile run from our Airbnb to the lighthouse and back along State Road to the house. Lolo got the unpleasant experience of a Lone Star Tick bomb on her leg
Edgartown streets and bike paths
Multiple runs through the streets of lovely Edgartown and out to the Katama bike path
Opoutere Beach
5.5-mile run from the campground, through the forest, along the beach to the southern end, back north to Ohui Inlet, and back
