2023 Yosemite in the Fall

Us atop Sentinel DomeUs atop Sentinel DomeWe try to get to Yosemite Valley at least once a year. It’s really become the only time we use our Lazy Daze anymore since most of our trips these days are either international or offroading in our 4WD.

I love our motorhome though, so I am always excited to take a trip in it. It’s so cozy.

We have found that our favorite time of the year in Yosemite is late October / early November because that is when the foliage is best and the summer crowds have diminished.

Camping reservations are always hard to come by, so I spent a good deal of time constantly checking for cancellations and managed to piece together days, with only having to change campsites once.

I also managed to get an extra site for Tommy and Erin (our son and daughter-in-law) for the second weekend we were there.

So off we went.
